The anticipation for season 2 of Pose continues to build as the show drops more trailers, this time in an interview-style which focuses on the characters that occupy the legendary ballroom.
The first, which came out last week sees Billy Porter tells of a “change coming” amidst the ‘plague’ referencing the HIV epidemic. But goes on: “choosing life in the darkest of times, that’s a choice. That’s what the ballroom scene is about”.
The more recent is of Blanca, (Mj Rodriguez) talking of how she’ll “always be there, even if [she’s] gone”. Well, it’s only season 2, we hope they won’t be killing of Bianca so soon, but with producers attempting to mirror the tragedy of the AIDS outbreak, it could always be a possibility.
We personally can’t wait to see them back in the ballroom.
And its a good month for renewal seasons, with Handmaid’s Tale and Black Mirror dropping too.
